TV solutions for businesses
Romm AS provides TV services for hotels, campsites, institutions and other businesses. The solution is adapted to the business's existing TV system and needs.
In most cases, the existing infrastructure can continue to be used. If the business already has a local TV system, Romm AS can deliver the channels into it without replacing TVs, cabling or the existing distribution network.
Romm AS can provide TV in three different ways:
Satellite reception
If the business already has a functioning TV headend, it can normally continue to be used. Romm AS provides the required programme cards and any CAM modules, and can also handle operation and maintenance of the system.
Delivery via internet
The TV channels are delivered directly to the business via the internet to a gateway supplied and installed by Romm AS. From the gateway, the signals are fed into the existing TV system. The solution is cost-effective and future-oriented, includes remote management and is operated by Romm AS. The customer therefore mainly needs to manage only their own TVs and local infrastructure. Existing internet access can be used if sufficient capacity is available, or Romm AS can provide internet access as part of the solution.
OTT
If the other solutions are not possible or desired, Romm AS can also provide TV via OTT directly to the TV sets.
Available TV channels
Romm AS can offer a broad selection of Norwegian, Nordic and international TV channels. The channel lineup can be adapted to the needs of the business and the existing TV solution.
Norwegian channels
Sports
Documentary and factual
Nordic channels
International, entertainment and family
Channel selection and pricing are adapted to the needs of the business, the number of receivers and the chosen technical solution. Availability may vary due to distribution agreements.
